This trade and draft should be all about boosting our A+ grade stocks, the last 10 years has shown we can get the role players elsewhere (and damn good ones in Lake, McEvoy, Frawley too) but the draft seems to be the thing, especially if you have 'elite' pick(s)

You make a good point about Gunners potential longevity.

Many of the players that played into their late 30's like Tucky and Dustin Fletcher were very lean units.

This year in particular Gunners looked super lean like a greyhound (I think he was listed at 83kg which very light for a guy who is 6 foot 3)

I think Gunston could easily play until 33 to 36 baring any major injuries.

Especially as Ross seems to be a poor man's Stephenson

More likely for 2 and 20. Pick 1 costs an absolute premium but could definitely see them doing that with Pick 2.

I’d be interested in both, especially Wright to play ruck / forward, with Ceglar at Box a Hill.

Yeah Wright could play the same role as Ceglar or TOB. Maybe even both and allow more runners in the team

I see potential for Wright to be David Hale 2.0. Always thought he was better when rucking. I’ve also heard that he’s on a very large contract and GC want it off their books. So his value would probably be at its lowest point. I still wonder what GC would want.

Yeah that’s fairo brant but we could use the extra big body in there, we got smashed in contested and clearances week in week out. Brodie is a contested beast, he’s compared to josh Kennedy. I’d take him if it was for a late pick .
