Flynn is highly rated internally (as is Briggs).
Flynn is possibly the best shot on goal at the club, I guess there is a possibility of him being groomed as a key forward who backup rucks..

I've heard this also.
But actions speaker louder than words, if they get Preuss and retain Mumford and dont play them again, than despite the talk, they mustn't rate them. (That said they haven't done any of that yet)

Maybe Mumford is in more of a coaching role. Preuss, Flynn and Briggs competing for Rick position with Mummy there for any emergency situations.

Would imagine the whole Mumford staying on is more to do with less cash for the footy department and having coaching help on low dollars then any faith in Mumford as a player and would think a similar thing will happen with Shaw.
Surely this is a bad dream re Mumford? Cannot imagine they are serious.
Waiting for the Cameron announcement and although I am confident as I think they are waiting on the announcement on list sizes and SC going forward before finalising the contract I do hope that he does sign on for a reasonable $ contract as he has been well paid for his last 2 contracts
A few media reports stating Cumming is close to re-signing and although not a star the 4 years (+ Academy) of development the club has put in needs to be repaid so I can see that announced before the end of the week
Surprised that no delistings have been announced as other clubs have already made some and I am assuming that the exit/season end interviews have all been done but again this could be held up due to the uncertainty over list and SC
Of those OOC I think like most Hately is gone and then maybe 1 of O'Halloran/Caldwell then Langdon I would think is more gone than staying wither to the WAFL or to a WA club if one wants him, Lloyd gets another 1 year deal and Reid possibly retires but stays on as a reserves player coach
Of the other rookies I would like to keep Stein and Sproule but again due to list cuts they may go but hopefully kept in the reserves list if that is allowed under the new system

He did a great job wife is but this is definitely the right call. We have plenty of guys who can play down back. Ash, Cumming, Whitfield and Ward.
We can use his money to secure other players.
With Shaw, Corr and Williams money we must have enough to secure Cameron and whoever else we really want to keep (without overpaying like we have in the past - see Bonar).

Confirmed and I think it is the right call and he has done a great job for the Giants and a shame he wont stick around in a coaching role but good luck to him

Might be a good move for 1 year as a player/coach. He’s got rat cunning and you will be so young next year. If I’m North I’d take him for sure.
