So Williams puts us at capacity on senior list. Not sure why we rushed to upgrade Gibbons.
Would look to move Betts, Macreadie and Polson to rookie list (though Macreadie a risk I guess), and delist Moore which opens up 3 senior spots for the draft.
That seems about right. Anyone else we add would need a player moved on, Graham/Narkle for Kennedy is straightforward, then potentially a call on Jack, LOB, Dow depending on Saad and/or other targets.
Player 'A' plays for your club - he is automatically a 20% better play than he is (until he is a scapegoat then he become 20% worse than what he is)
Player 'B' plays for opposition club - he is automatically 20% worse than he is until he becomes so good you cant deny it anymore.......until he becomes overated.

Take a breath. If he goes to Norf, Ill buy 1 less Blues membership in 2021 and direct that money into a norf membership; and I'll feel friggin great about doing it. Come at me.
Its funny because it's true.Good to see its begun already
Round 23: Geez not much in the reserves to cover the 4 blokes who are playing crap
Off Season: We are a couple of players from being a premiership side
Round 1: Geez its so tough to make a round 1 side, we have so much depth.
Following rnd 1 loss to tigers: we are a rabble.
Fair point, but likely limits our ability to move Macreadie to a rookie spot, in which case may be forced to move him on if we need to free up places. From both a list management and culture perspective It's the right move and message to upgrade Gibbons. The bloke has played almost every game the past 2 years.
Sam Skinner from Brisbane should be cheap...
But I like Macreadie (if only he could play)
Were any of those contracted?Definitely could be, Macca. I think he could be worth that mid-2nd rounder if a club were desperate, which North are.
Looking at the landscape of the trade period last year - 3rd talls and KPFs went fairly cheaply. Patton for a 2020 4th round (injuries and needed to get rid of salary so understandable), Jenkins for basically 37, and Bruce for 32+51. So I do think Jack can between 30-40 and reason being is his versatility to play numerous positions unlike the 3 above. If he goes, I’d say a good result if we net that.
Round 6: It's all finally clicked - lid is off.Good to see its begun already

Thats bloody good advice IBB; and fair enough 2. We each respond in our own way. That's just my wayTake a breath.
I'll be pretty down if JSOS leaves... but no one is bigger than the club.

psmlThat would take their M/ship tally to 11.![]()
Not sure that applies around here lately. The board is fairly split in valuing or devaluing our own.
There are a heap of opposition players we seem to love around here who haven't shown anywhere near enough as well. Caldwell is a prime example.
I think it's just different perceptions based on discussions we get involved in, but the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
Its the same how every team thinks the other team gets a good ride with the umpires.......ill give you a tip - every supporter thins their team gets dudded by the umpires
Round 6: It's all finally clicked - lid is off.
Unproven first round draft picks are always rated gold around here. But its players who arent up for trade and are players 15-25 on other clubs lists that people on here ridicule or downplay how good they are. Same as oppositon supporters do to other clubs.

Surely not Dogs supporters?
The reality is all teams get dudded by umpires so they're all right.![]()

I rate plenty of opposition players who are fringe best 22 for their teams.
Every supporter.
I remember as a kid watching footy at the ground and i would always lament why the game is always played on the other side of the ground where im sitting, not realising that im so enthralled when the game is played on my side that i dont notice where its being played.
Its like gameday for umpire bashers - they only remember the dodgy free kicks we gave away or didnt give away. They dont remember the ones we got or got away with.
It was a general consensus on this board and all other boards, not aimed at any individual.
