Well I imagine his travel and fishing shows will be off the table for a whileDangerfield has become such a money grubber in his old age.
Adelaide is the place doing really well ATM with only a couple of new cases each day, why not have quarantine precinct at Adelaide Oval?
Is it colour coded blue or red on the spreadsheetI hear there's a facility at Denise Norton Park requiring urgent upgrade that is suddenly looking for options.
Perhaps they can put up a few barracks there for the teams, and when this is all done, convert it to backpackers and other low income accommodation.

When they talked about a culture of "self-preservation" you can see where it really started. Our leadership is pathetic, its that simple.

Wimbledon, or rather the All England Lawn Tennis Club, have been paying Pandemic Insurance and are about to receive a payout of $141m on a $2m a year premium. I assume these are USD.

Pandemic insurance package will allow Wimbledon to recoup $141 million, per report - The Boston Globe
Massive insurance payout will cushion the financial blow.www.bostonglobe.com
Why didn't the AFL do this? It could afford the premium.

Given the AFL can afford the premium it is somewhat irresponsible they did not have something in place to insure against losing the revenue they need to survive.I dont understand how the AFL will get this Hubs idea through. With you cant cant have more than
Great investment. $2 million a year for pandemic insurance for the last 17 years.

Maybe SARS should have been one of our first wake up calls. I never understand why the NRL is always so poor. Management must be low quality and overpaid.Given the AFL can afford the premium it is somewhat irresponsible they did not have something in place to insure against losing the revenue they need to survive.
I understand the ALeague and NRL not doing this. They cant a afford it.
Also understand leagues like the NBA and EPL not doing so due to private ownership.and h leaving more capacity to survive.

Graeme Samuel has been on both commissions and tore into the NRL in the SMH recently. He resigned in protest over the commission giving into club demands to raid their rainy day fund.Maybe SARS should have been one of our first wake up calls. The big difference between the AFL & the NRL is that the AFL owns the Docklands stadium. That gives them a $500M asset which they can use as collateral when applying for loans. The NRL doesn't own any major assets - their only asset is the game itself.Maybe SARS should have been one of our first wake up calls. I never understand why the NRL is always so poor. This is where the SANFL might fall over. They had Footy Park but now might have be cash rich on sale of it in the short term but this virus may wipe a lot out. I'm not sure if they still have any assets at West Lakes. The big difference between the AFL & the NRL is that the AFL owns the Docklands stadium. I’d set myself up inside the old scoreboard with a few blow heaters and an electric blanket. Could just crack open a slot on the scoreboard and watch games live from my bed.Adelaide is the place doing really well ATM with only a couple of new cases each day, why not have quarantine precinct at Adelaide Oval?
There's no electricity in the old scoreboard, but other than that it sounds a great ideaI’d set myself up inside the old scoreboard with a few blow heaters and an electric blanket. Could just crack open a slot on the scoreboard and watch games live from my bed.
Brett Burton should submit his resume, he'd be a shoe in with those requirementsMaybe SARS should have been one of our first wake up calls. I never understand why the NRL is always so poor. Management must be low quality and overpaid.
2 KVA gennys at bunnings for $600 the other day might just run an electric blanket. There's no electricity in the old scoreboard, but other than that it sounds a great idea
If you get your membership money back, it will just about pay for that2 KVA gennys at bunnings for $600 the other day might just run an electric blanket.
I’ve got interstate membership x 3 but they can keep my money. If you get your membership money back, it will just about pay for that
You would think the AFL would have more intelligence than that.NRL set to resume on May 28, one would expect the AFL will be thinking similarly.

Controversial to say the least.
