these quotes sum up why we are where we are - and I don't think anyone can dispute these statements

If the scum land pick 8 in a Saad trade then we hold them over the fire for 6,7,8 for 2,11,28.

This could at least land us Phillips/Tilthorpe + Cox/Reid and another midifielder (Bruhn?)

Scratch the 28 and that deal would be fine.

100% agree. Outside the top 5 and 2 academy kids, players could go anywhere. There’s not much diff between 6 and 12 this year.

**Collingwood could then trade their future first to someone for 2 future seconds. Next year they'd then 4 seconds to cover nick daicos plus draft.

An ideal situation but your forgetting something Collingwood would want picks 2,11,14,18 for Stephenson and Treloar as according to them every player at Collingwood is regarded as a 1st round pick.
Plus I wouldn’t put it pass them to off load Levi Greenwood

True he is 33 but he has at least 2 -3 years left. If you are crap, you aren't playing anymore (Boomer obviously an exception to this).

Exactly. A lot of definitive statements in here based on little other than opinion. This year of all years could be a real surprise packet given the lack of info to go on.
