I'm hearing that we have some interest in Lachie O'brien from Carlton for a pick in the 30's.

I know he was an early pick, but have no idea what kind of player he is...

Has anyone heard similar?

I'm surprised we didn't have interest in Fogarty

I read that as both clubs are wanting to deal and it’s up to the player if he wants to leave.

If he can't make up his mind then its "thanks but no thanks" . We dont want to be messed around with anymore...Time to move on....

Yeh we talked tough and the "mutually beneficial" deal for a player sought out by a top 2 side was pick 30.

Pick 30 will slide out to more than that not come forward.
It’s a shit pick unless we have agreed to part with it for Stephenson, so turn Higgo into Stevo.
If we don’t get someone with that pick it’s a bust, the likelihood of getting another Higgo with 30 is extremely remote, actually I probably have more chance of winning lotto.
Just go and look at a few drafts at between 30-40 and see how many are doing as well as Higgo or even half of what he offers.

it'll be worth it if it helps get another deal done or we've got a player we're looking at who will be available at 30 in the draft. we're all excited about flynn perez and that's about where he landed last year. keep an open mind

It's quite funny that people on here are laughing at the hypothetical trades Collingwood supporters are coming up with regarding Stephenson yet thought we would get a 1st rounder in return for Higgins.

Pick 30 is about right - happy with that.

30 will be seen as a win across the industry, we'll feel a bit sad because he's been so good for us but in fairness he only had one more year with us in all likelihood. It's a solid trade.
