If Brady and the list management team rubber stsmp this for anything other than an absurd offer, then we deserve to wallow down the bottom. Offloading Pick 2 effectively is saying we are happy to give up a better sh*t at the very best talent available for 2 players that with a bit of luck might be elite.

Too risky for mine. Back in your research and take the best talent available, which is at Pick 2.

JUH aside, Hollands and then McDonald are by far the best players in this draft - there’s a mile between them and the next best (incl. Phillips, DGB). Would be insane to throw away Pick 2 for anything less than an established top 5-8 midfielder.

If we can’t get Stephenson for a 2nd rounder I’m happy to pass on him. He’s a really talented kid but obviously has a couple issues, a large contract and an average/bad two years. I’d rather take a gamble on pick 11.

I'd be putting our 2021 second on the table for both guys first thing tomorrow and then walking away. Pick will be around 20-22 which will be valuable points for Daicos.

If they want pick 11 then I would be wanting their 2021 first back, or at least somehow tying in the Dogs' pick this year.

Brown if Melbourne give us what WE THINK is a worthwhile trade, #26 and #33
Pick swaps with the Doggies #25, #26 for their pick #14. If these happen then Brady and Clayton have done a good job...

Agree. Considering we get bent over with our outgoing players.
If we could cop a little win and get him for a second rounder that would be mint.
If he comes out and says he wants to come to us then I'm sure we'll work something out and keep picks 2 and 11.

Nah **** Melbourne, they’re absolutely taking the piss and have been from the start. I would love for us to find a way to negotiate a swap with the Pies for Brown. I’d even be happy to take on some of his salary to allow the move. Dees can then **** off and if there are any complaints from Brown, we walk him to the PSD.

Just quietly, I'd be stoked if we could do pick 11 for Stephenson and Collingwood's 2021 1st. Maybe throw in a 2021 3rd to balance it out.

They want picks ahead of the McInnes bid this season, plus want to get out of next years draft due to Daicos.

I also think there's a distinct chance the pies absolutely fall off a cliff next season. They have an aging core and a woeful forward line, but seem to think they can still contend. We could really clean up if they start talking future picks.
