Bit early to suggest we havent got this right.

We could package them for other picks or bulldogs pick or stephenson - i think where doing a great job not leaking info and also not accepting crap pick - higgins for 30 is pretty good and fair - could have easily have buckled for 38

The question is why don't we want a player who has kicked over 60 goals a season consistently? Being open to trading him is one thing, but losing him cheaply, without even waiting for the new coach's position on it?

I guess most of us thought the league might like Brown. The fact is the issues some had have been well and truly backed up by a significant lack of care by the rest of the clubs. He is worth what the market offers and not many seem to care. GWS decided on Hogan before Brown! Dons Peter Wright!

My faith here is we are gonna take this bag of magic second and third round beans and conjure up some sort of first round pick.

I have argued too much about the downside of trading him. If we get reamed we get reamed and it is a mark against Brady.

If we take the magic beans and make a first round pick happen its about neutral for mine, not great but not bad. there is no path I can see to this being a superb outcome, given what is being floated.
