Dogs, Pies in Treloar stand-off
By Sam McClure

A stand-off has developed between the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood over Adam Treloar.

The Dogs have offered their future second-round pick for the star midfielder, and according to club sources, Collingwood are not happy with that.

The Magpies believe Treloar is worth a first-round pick at a minimum. But the Bulldogs are attempting to take advantage of what has become a messy situation between the player and his current club.

In a further development, club sources say the Western Bulldogs are now dealing exclusively with Collingwood and believe that Treloar and contracted
midfielder Josh Dunkley, who has requested a trade to Essendon, can be at Whitten Oval next season.

If Treloar is that cheap, with our cap room, why don't we go for him ourselves, along with Stephenson, and forget Phillips?
We've had huge cap room to begin with, minus Brown and Higgins, we have absolute bucket load.
