Man.. it was so surreal. Happened so quickly. Managed to get the family back not long after lockdown. I had to stay to look after my business interest there and negotiate subsidy from the NY government until I can get back when things ease.

It was the most frightening time of my life. One to lose all my investment I’ve worked on for the past decade overnight and secondly general fear. Was staying in SoHo and the rioters broke into our building. I had 3 families huddled up in my apartment for a week in fear of getting killed.

All good now. The nerves are settled and the past month has been amazing watching the boys. Bring on this weekend!

No one needs that level of madness. At least the family and yourself are safe, healthy, and in a better place. You got those things, you'll bounce back fine.
Enjoy the game, you deserve it. Hope the boys play out of their skin and win well.

I remember seeing a picture of him and commenting that Richo had only picked him up because he was his illegitimate son. I never thought he'd be as good as he is.
I liked him after watching the VICC v VICM when he pretty much did a job on Cam Rayner.

But it was the 0.58 sec mark of this that really sold me on him.

I don’t think defensive stopper is Paton’s ceiling at all. It’s good for now to get him into the team but he’s too quick and too good of a ball user (with both feet mind you) to waste as a stopper for the rest of his career. When Hunter moves into the middle I’d love to see Paton take over his role.

I never noticed him but his highlights look amazing.

Actually ghost said caldwell

Who said taranto i cant remember?
Owen?

Fmd too many posts over the last week
Think Brian first raised a tattooed Giant. Taranto was raised but assumed out of reach.
think we all assumed it was Williams to start with and Bobby Hill at worst. Taranto would be an awesome suprise.

Williams had already committed to Carlton at that point, so couldn't have been him.

Not that many tatted giants left.

Matt Bain, Taranto's manager, laughed off the suggestion that the former number two pick, who was the Giants' best and fairest winner last year, could be moving.

"There's zero truth in it. It will not be happening. He signed last year until the end of 2022 and he loves the club, he loves it up there. Tim Taranto is not leaving," said Bain.

While it is unlikely we would actually get him, his manager is never going to come out and say that Lloyd is spot on and Taranto's looking at Brighton real estate next weekend.

It's definitely happening then

I agree, but that then does mean we still have to find a dependable defensive stopper? Could Dmac be as good as Paton and Geary have been at that? Who else would work there? Connolly? Hind? Phillips? Byrnes?

Some of the people on here are willing to give up Gresham and a pick for Taranto. I have never seen him play a very good game yet. Gresham has played quite a few.
Taranto is being over valued while Gresh is being under valued.
Are you suggesting Tim Taranto hasn’t played a good game of footy.?
