Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
For the player that will likely be considered the 4th best prospect on paper behind Daicos, Darcy and Horne?Pick 3 baby
This was always going to be our best outcome (draft wise). Does give us the opportunity to profit by trading down if a club with a similar pick but is desperate for pick 2.For the player that will likely be considered the 4th best prospect on paper behind Daicos, Darcy and Horne?

1,000/1What are the odds North take someone else?

See what happens I guess.
We should beat Hawthorn. The other games we are legitimately no chance.

Especially if we lose to HawksThe Round 21 clash between Hawthorn and Collingwood looms as very interesting now!
What is the point in winning though.I wouldn't sleep on the West Coast game either, seeing it's at home and they are a thoroughly average team at the moment. If we bring the game we brought against Melbourne, or Geelong, it's certainly winnable.
No chance for the Melbourne, Dogs or Port game seeing either it's away from home or the home ground advantage is neutralised and really, we're not at a stage where we can compete with the big boys away from Adelaide.
Watching Thilthorpe this year has removed the memories of 2020.What is the point in winning though.
Belief came from Geelong, Melbourne and Saints games.
Plus holding Brisbane till the coaches moved Doedee.
Internally the belief is there. Losing our last five games won't dent that. Especially if we lose, like the Essendon game, playing a strategic/selection method so far removed from our successfull game strategy/selections this year.

IF we nail this year's draft as we did 2020 and are contending for a flag in 2025Watching Thilthorpe this year has removed the memories of 2020.
Watching Horne play for us next year would remove the memory of 2021 last 5 games.
Our want for Horne seems to me like our want for Rankine/Luko in 2018
We won't finish in a bad enough position to nab him without needing a trade. We also won't quite have the capital to trade up for him - NM will want him no matter what. We'll select some other guy and throw crap at the recruiters for years as to why we didn't trade up for Horne when, in fact, it was never really possible
I'm personally fine with grabbing a Roberts/Callaghan type
We didn't for Lukosius or Rankine. We did for Rozee.Agree with your last sentence and I’m fine with not getting Horne, but we did have the draft capital to move up in 2018 - we just chose not to.
We really didn't when Lukosius was our number 1 pick and Rankine our number 2 pick....I doubt Rozee was ever our focus in trying to trade up.Agree with your last sentence and I’m fine with not getting Horne, but we did have the draft capital to move up in 2018 - we just chose not to.
GC were never going to deal away Luko/Rankine. NeverAgree with your last sentence and I’m fine with not getting Horne, but we did have the draft capital to move up in 2018 - we just chose not to.
Yeah it seems we won't get Horne. Our want for Horne seems to me like our want for Rankine/Luko in 2018

We won a whole series of games late in the year. That set us up for improvement this year.We lost to North last year to set up pick 1.
Didnt effect our player's psyche.
We have seen enough this year to know our guys can win.
Eseendon game set the course for draft management once a few other results have gone that way the last two weeks.

That game put a gap between us and North. Pick 1 and 2.We won a whole series of games late in the year. That set us up for improvement this year.
North was one one random bad game, when we had too many list cloggers actually playing.
I think the North loss was very valuable - we stamped the cards of a bunch of players, and knew they weren't part of our future. That game put a gap between us and North. Pick 1 and 2.
Pick 1 stitched up we played better footy and jagged a few wins.
Pure coincidence of course. The response to the loss to North was a great motivator.
Played some great Footy after that.

I think the question is ... when did our recruiters realise this? Did they keep trying to convince GC to give us one of them till quite late while the Poo steal a march on us in working their way up the ladder?Agree.
GC were never giving up Luko and Rankine. Why would they?
Does seem our recruiters didn't rate Rozee high enough.
