It's not entirely uncommon in contact sports. Basically a blunt force trauma injury.
Hopefully it's only a minor tear that can heal without treatment.

Butters back in 3-4 weeks surely isn’t accurate? Has there been any updates? Last I heard they were saying that it’s a possibility he could be out as long as Duursma.
Butters wrote the injury report. Was 8 weeks, but he said "Nah, I'll be back in 2 .... Okaaaaay, make it 3-4 then
"
Still needs to be ticked off by the AFL medicos before he can play
