Key Off-Season Dates
This is a comprehensive list including dates for draft combines, list lodgements, delisted free agency windows and return to train dates. I had to collate these from three different club websites because the AFL is lazy af and doesn't have it on their website, so thought it might be helpful to share:

FAQs & Resources Thread

It has an index at the top with threadmarks so it's easy to find what you're looking for – or easier than scrolling through 250 pages of AFL Rules, Regulations and CBA pdfs anyway.

These sorts of questions are all answered along with a bunch of other resources made by posters from across BigFooty (feel free to add to it!):

I am really growing into the idea of moving our pick 2 down the order to Hawthorn for their first pick and a future first or even 2 seconds (one this year and one next year). I would love us to take Mac Andrew. Yes, much riskier than taking Callaghan but Big Mac could be a generational type talent ala Franklin. Plus from what I can tell from his background he could really bring a lot of the Western Sydney multi cultural community along to our games. In the end it is pretty important to grow the game in that part of Sydney.

I don’t see a need for any more mids as I really love the look of a player such as O’Halloran who is on the edge of the team but is prime to take the next step.

Let’s go big, get creative, fill a couple of needs, find some x-factor and win the flag in 2022!

If we see O'Halloran and Angwin take the next step next year I think we could be looking pretty good on the wing, those 2 don't match the upside of Callaghan but our wing stocks would be looking pretty good. XO really started to come into his own at the end of last year unfortunate he got injured but with a big pre-season I could see him taking over Kennedy in that position.

Agreed! I really like X man! Remember Angwin isn’t yet 19. He will take time and the Giants knew that when they took him.

Yeah agreed, not expecting regular games from Angwin next year but if he can come in and play a few games while not looking totally out of place that'd be a positive sign

Dogs seem very low on draft points, will the have enough to match a high bid for Darcy?

Hey GWS fans,

Draft Experts eDPS, ModernArtillery, Pie 4 Life and PMBangers recently took part in a phantom draft for the draftcast! feel free to listen and direct all criticisms to the draftcast thread, specifically PMBangers who selected for you

On this episode of the Bigfooty Draftcast, The_Wookie hosts a 3 round phantom draft for our draft experts eDPS, ModernArtillery, Pie 4 Life and PMBangers to participate in, each taking 4 clubs and running through selection-by-selection. Who does your club pick? Which fans will be the most outraged? Where does BigFooty's Own Neil Erasmus (BFONE for short) get selected? Listen through to find out, and hear the rationale of the selections for your club!

All selections, and club allocations can be seen here;

Questions for the listeners;
Is there anyone you would have preferred at any of your selections?
Who were the bolters and sliders?
Who were some of the players that missed out that shocked you?

So, PMBangers, what's your thought pattern around selecting Arlo Draper? What niche does he fill for the team?
Less so fill a niche, but my other two choices were Sinn and Wilmot who both fill a role either Callaghan or Fahey can, so Arlo at least gives us something different and could in the long term play a Toby style role
