I was pumped when we won the VFL grand final in 2002 as well. Had been way too long prior to then that we'd won some silverware at any level.

Who would of thought? You get a bunch of kids the same age (not even high draft picks), teach them all to play the same way and with each other.
Who would think you get more invested as a supporter too following them from start to finish?

My sister in law is a Carlton supporter and she showed me a photo of my nephew in a Carlton jumper when he was a baby. It was when he was teething and his cheeks were red. She wasn't happy when I said "I'd be embarrassed to be seen in that top too."

A couple of years back I was heading to a Geelong vs Collingwood game, got in the Metro service at Southern Cross and a family got on - mum, dad & 2 kids with one parent wearing Cats gear, the other wearing Collingwood and the kids were also split alliance

Looking at the age of the younger kid though, they looked about right to have been born following the 2011 GF and was almost like the parents had a deal that the team which won the grand final would get the support the newborn...

Don't get a sh*t sleeping bag if your going anywhere slightly cold.
Cheap shitty tent is fine if you don't go that much.
Deb mashed potato is tops for camping.
A half decent mattress is an absolute must.
Dont just use a yoga mat or similar. They don't work.
If you get a blow up one you can get a little pump that plugs into your car for less than 10 bucks.

Cheap tent can be a disaster I grabbed one at Kmart a year or so ago for a quick trip to Fraser Island I didn't want to take all the usual gear look at this tent on the package it showed 2 people inside standing thought beauty that's me,when we got up there and put it up it was under a mtr tall my 3/4 rain jacket covered the whole roof and the little window was sewn into the roof instead of the wall and up side down.

By a Samsung I've had 2 recalls in 7 years both times they just give you a new machine and the warranty starts again great deal.
