Hill to choose Essendon. Dodo does his normal shitcannery upsetting Hill and GWS and forcing him unhappily into the PSD. We swoop in and pick him up. Hill gets the deal he wanted and is fine with it because Essendon pissed him off after agreeing to it, we get a player in the PSD, and GWS hold no ill will towards us because it was Essendon's doing.

Genuinely can't imagine there would be any suitors for him. Maybe if we pay half his salary. But he spent half the year injured and then was "managed" out of the team if I recall how it went down. One of the more important pre-seasons of his career next year.

You would pretty much have to find another horror contract to get any other club to think about trading him.
May as well just keep Polec.

But he has 2 years left with us I think.
I doubt another club offers him 2 years.

His experience may be very crucial to a young, highly promising list, which will need as much experience around it as possible. Taz, sadly has gone, it is not looking good for Froggy and Ats probably too.

With Horatio (as in Horn(e)blower) almost locked in as Pick 1, plus Powell and Spicer, I hope we keep both Polec and Dumont, to build a solid SA connection. We want those recently drafted boys to feel right at home, love the place and never go home.

I still rate Polec as a good offensive winger, one that would have been capable of really complimenting the rudimentary gamestyle we had in the last half of the yea. But overall it was a forgettable season for him, and he does have his limitations at the best of times. Needs to get back to his best in the off/pre season, fingers are crossed he stays healthy during it to give him every possible chance.
