I’d want to see him as the main ruck for a few games before writing him off. Which, yes, might be tricky with Goldy’s durability. Even in games where he hasn’t been great overall he’s shown some good tap work.

He wasn't bad at VFL level this year, before it got canned. He just wasn't ready to reproduce that at AFL level. The club internally rated him highly.

We were always light on when it came to ruck stock. if he wants to bail and not prove he is better than Edwards or CCJ then a white flag is usually indicative of where they stand.
