I suspect we'll trade Lonie and he might fetch us a pick in the 40's to 50's (before bids). It alone should be enough to get one of Windhager or Owens. Fair deal in my view

Maybe GWS's 2nd first rounder is one we could trade done for - currently number 12 - depending on where their academy player sits closer to the draft.

But as you said, if Owens and Windhager will require points or picks from that part of the draft. Trading down might not be an option unless we do something with future picks.

Could go from taking screamers and slamming them through post-high to tripping over his own feet on the goalline in the space of five minutes and back again.
Get around your role in the swansong of the people’s champ and rejoice in the fact that you might not have gotten the best of him, but even the rest of him is rarefied air most players will never even get in the same postcode as.

Players in the mid season draft could nominate with terms on their contract length if picked up.

Heath nominated for 18 months and Sharman only for the 6 months.

Brut do you really think we will get anything for Lonie , going for what we got for Stevens , Newnes etc.
Hope we do but clubs know they can pick up players cheaply unless teams are bidding for him and hopefully they are.

Unlikely - if anyone is interested they will likely be able to get him as a delisted free agent. Or it would be similar to Hind with a clubs last draft pick.

So we are looking for atleast 8-10 changes to our list next year. Rookies can be kept for an extra year so I hope Clav and Joyce are given another year. Both have looked decent when given a chance.

Priority should be to draft a gun mid, target KPD and another developing ruck in the draft/trade period.

Long has been disappointing since drafted and hopefully we will field offers for him as a defensive forward.

And if Sharman goes could we get anything for him trade wise or is he free to walk.

I'm looking forward to draft and trade period, the Cerra trade along with Billings , Ross , Dunstan , Mat Crouch and a few surprises.
Guys like Narkle , Ricarddi , Brander , Tom Green , Hopper are still not signed so its going to be good.
We lose Ross and Dunstan we could easily use the picks to upgrade because the Dogs and the Pies need the points for father son selections.
