An ex teammate works for a distributor so if I buy a doz I get them at a very good price.

Sounds like an offer you could share with some select StK supporting connoisseurs… [emoji6]

Good and bad story
Back around 25 years ago i used to collect red wines , my main red was the wynns coonawarra estate john riddoch cab sav , i would buy half a dozen each year and keep them , about 4 years back had a BBQ for Melb cup day , one thing led to another and we ended up drinking a few of the collection , considering they hadn't really been stored in the most preferred method they tasted pretty good for a wine that was 25 years old.
About two years ago i decide to look up online what they were worth, to my disgust the 4 we drank we all from the same year and were now valued around $350 each so we effectively drank $1500 of red .
On the good side i sold the other 2 bottles for $700

St Kilda is open to keeping Luke Dunstan at the club on a modest deal for next season.
The Saints have said they will keep the hard nut on the list for 2022 but Dunstan, 26, has not been in a rush to sign on.

The hard nut has been in excellent form since he returned to the senior side mid-season, averaging 27 possessions a game.

Gold Coast has shown some interest in Dunstan, too, while Adelaide considered him briefly last year but opted against a move.

The South Australian is determined to continue his AFL career next season but his best opportunity may be at another club.

The Saints may lose free agent Jack Billings depending on rival offers, and in particular from North Melbourne.

Riewoldt basically said billing for a first could be right for both the player and club but for a second no. The same position that a lot of posters hold. Dunstan seems out the door to me, when you’ve had the not best 22 chat and then get a modest offer after playing good football the writing is wall and truly on the wall.

Dunstan the more replaceable of the two. Sorry to see him go, but I’d be ok with it.

I maintain that if Dunstan can complete the season in good style i.e plenty of ball and uses it well then the club would be negligent if they offered him peanuts or worse he was shown the door without fanfare.

Pretty much my stance. The second rd compo would end up being about pick 30 which is a horrific return for Billings.

Surely we dont let him walk for that. It's been said he wants to stay but there is obviously something holding up the contract. Fingers crossed we sort it out quickly.

Yes and no, look at it like this we‘ve seen his best and worst and obviously still rate him behind Steele, crouch and Jones.

When you consider he’s the only one out of contract and the young mids coming through it makes sense to offer him a modest deal. We can’t afford what he’s worth to play him in the seconds and Luke must know he’ll be the first mid dropped so if I was him I’d be off if there’s a good offer on the table.

12-14 dollars a pint in Melbourne. I was appalled the last time I was there. You can't justify that. I ended up having Carlton draught for $7 in Camberwell...You could really "taste the savings." I couldn't justify drinking that sh*te, or the ridiculous hangover that came from it.
Stopped drinking in pubs after that.

This made my day. Thank you.

I wear five-year-old jumpers and ride my bike everywhere so that I can spend outrageous amounts on small quantities of awesome beer!

Kelly is closer to Billings than Bont though, Bont has that killer instinct where he picks the side up with his actions. I wouldn't be paying Kelly more than $650 to $700k. Kelly has had better games but he's slightly less even than Billings but also lacks a bit of hurt factor like JB. Both good users and both can have better stats than the eye shows. Billings best is a 25 disposal a week clean user link man. He is more soldier than general and doesn't seem to have killer instinct but he's nowhere near as awful as people are making out since he's been injured. Kelly is more true mid so his stats look better but they aren't miles apart in quality even if it's hard to compare players that don't play the same role.
Mate Kelly beat the Tigers on his own last night. Sure Taranto kicked a bag but he wouldn't have had a shot with Jelly there manhandling the tigers mids.

So how long is a jumper supposed to last then? Unless it is a piece of saints gear with a fave players signature on it...:) then you keep it til you depart the planet.

Great. We can now shut up about Dunstan. Our midfield is not good enough to contend. Dunstan can't be trusted kicking the ball inside 50. Get him out, get someone better in.
Love Spooks endeavour but unfortunately he has to go.. Wish all our players played with the heart Spook does.
