Why did your boy get #7 then?

That’s right up there with the club giving #1 to Stephen Bloody Newport after Barks retired.

against Adelaide, we win with Ross and Membrey.

I really think, after Clark got s**tmixed, our players' heads were not in the Adelaide game (frankly, I doubt they wanted their heads anywhere near the football) - I am not sure that Ross and Membrey, particularly with Skunk's form at that point, would have made it hugely better.

I'm not in disagreement, don't want to further dilute it though.

That gif is heinous.

And yet, still somehow less disgusting than the thought of Marc Murphy at the Saints

So you think they all got scared after Clark went down ,,,,,,,,, FMD

If we can get a 2nd round comp pick for Dunstan we’ve done well. Took him with an end of 1st/start of 2nd round pick with Acres and they’ve both had a few good patches of form but never been consistent. Happy to give Bytel, Byrnes or Hannebery his spot next year depending on how our off season pans out.

Seb Ross could be the worst decision maker on our list.

His kicks inside 50 nearly always end up with the opposition marking it or a behind, he handballs to team mates just behind them so they lose momentum in their running and he always looks around trying to blame others when something bad happens.

Had a good final last year but his good performances are too few for mine. I honestly think he hurts us more with his decision making and skills than he helps.

Hoping tomorrow is his last game for us and then we trade him in a win/win situation and he finds success at his new club.
I'm glad someone else said it.
Been doing it for years. Needs to go for this reason alone.

Agree with letting him go he is not the midfielder that can turn a game when needed , in 2017 and 2018 he was averaging 30 possessions a game which is huge but clubs didn't worry about him because the possessions where not hurting teams.
Our midfield is gradually getting better from where it was when he was the mainstay and regeneration of this area is working so the loss of Ross is really part of the team growing.
I fully expect we will pick up a midfielder in the trade period or draft with better kicking skills - we could easily get a guy like Hobbs who would be ideal or who knows they might get Hopper , Dunkley or Parker.
The thing is getting Ross and Dunstan off the list will create a lot more cap space and knowing Hannerbery took a salary cut , Roberton is off the books they now have serious money to throw at a star to lure to the club.

I cannot believe he captain the blues for as long as he did.
also can anyone tell me how gearys inclusion in the team helps the development of
Coff
Sinclair
Wilkie
Howard
Alison
Highmore
Clark
??

Or is he now a depth player..? Because if he is picked infront of those boys I will be worried

If he’s picked consistently in front of those players Ratten should be worried imo
Actually I would t rush to extend Ratten till I knew what Clarkson was doing in 2023 ...

Let’s be honest, if Clarko shows any interest in us, Ratts shouldn’t even be considered beyond 2022

It sucks that Gold Coast is capitulating so badly at the end of this year. The AFL won't allow one of their expansions to fail and one of their few promising players in Ben King will be 0% chance to leave now, surely. Even if he wanted to leave, Gold Coast would die on that hill given his talent as a key forward and the AFL would offer them any assistance to ensure it didn't happen.

If Gold Coast get pumped today they'll probably get a support package for their current support package. Ya know, to support it.

AFL simply order us to back off again.
