Biggest off season move would be Hunter Clark hiring whoever Nat Fyfe worked with in about 2012...

The game changer we need

whys this an issue? Bruce Joined Steele training during the mandated time off whilst both were in Canberra, who to say Jack's season isn't also due to having Bruce accompany him. so many making far too much out of this

I saw that Bruce attributed his great season to his time with Steele. We need our boys fit.

I think that says more about Bruce than anything else. He fattened up and played like crap last year so attached himself to his mate in Canberra and got fit.

It's on Clark to do the same, not Steele. He should grab DMAC and learn how to work.

I think Dmac and Sinclair living together might have something to do with both of their fantastic improvements this year. Both of them could be considered most improved on our team, going from delisted to arguably best 22 and going from not getting picked for the whole half of 2020 to first picked every week.

He's 24 and a bit like a less impacting Luke Dunstan. He had a good game against us this year but he's a pretty meh player. They have a heap of better similar mids too.
A few of that type getting around, we have 1 possibly 2 ready to move. Most are average and looking for that 2-3 yr contract on good brass. I think a few are going to be disappointed in what they get- IF they are picked up. A few will be going back to the magoos or good country leagues.

Didn't realise they lived together. Dad bod Clark should move in too.

I reckon Clark and Higgins need a bit more work on the running track over summer, and lose some of that puppy fat. I think we lacked little in overall team fitness this season. It was interested to see Sharman totally out of legs against Freo in the last quarter of the Freo game- a good preseason will work wonders for him. I think we could do with another bigger running half forward, but not sure if anyone is on the table to pick up

Sharman wasn’t out of legs lmao. Kent accidentally cleaned him up running at a contest. Caught him in the head with his full momentum. The poor bloke was probably a little dazed or concussed for the rest of the match

I think Hunter Clark needs to look inside himself, like a mango he needs to peel back the skin, then put it up to the sun and seek the power, smell the power Hunter.

Are we sure Fyfe isn’t on bloody roids? He looked like a 14 year old in his draft year. He looks like a superhero now
I wouldn't be surprised if a relatively large proportion of players were on some kind of gear.

PED testing has been shown to be ineffective many times over.

In my case, ages ago, it was just a facetious comment, that Brucey needed Steele to make him get the best out of himself - considering the year he had. So hopefully he’ll do it to our guys too.

Matty Parker playing for south freo for finals. Not sure if it means he won't be at Richmond next year.

Matthew Parker will return to South Fremantle Football Club for the remainder of the 2021 Optus WAFL Season after being approved to play by the Richmond Football Club.

Under the WAFL Rules and Regulations, any WAFL player that is selected in the Mid-Season Rookie Draft has the right to return to their original club to participate in finals.

The West Australian Football Commission, Richmond Football Club, South Fremantle Football Club and the AFL have reached an agreement, which will allow Parker to play in the upcoming Optus WAFL Finals Series.

Footy Classified discussed the fact that Ben King kicked 47 goals but didn’t finish in the top 10 of the Suns B&F. All panelists were surprised and then discussed the OOC players in 2022.

Matthew Lloyd said things won’t be changing and that he is worried for them. He looked and sounded grim. The clear point he was making is that the OOC players will probably look to leave at the end of their contracts. These included King, Ainsworth, Lukosius and Rankine.
They way they spoke about the GC seemed like the decision had already been made by those players to leave, words like ‘acted too late’ ‘can’t see much changing’ Loyd knows waaaayyyyy more than he is saying and so does Caro

That is not correct.

He spent time as both a defender and forward even before Max's injury.
Both we’re actually midfielders at year 7-9 levels this probabLy explains why both so good below the knees
They were both tried forward in year 10 but kept competing against each other
Ben marked everything at Chb but hard to say if this was because of his height against smaller lads
Ben played forward after Max did knee
Ben was Sports Captain and prefect at Haileybury Max no leadership positions I can recall
