There must be a part to the Dunstan story we haven’t been told.
In Dunny's words "the coach didn't rate me" is all there is to it IMHO.
Ratts made it perfectly clear when he took over that if you can't kick then you won't be playing for StKilda, and Dunny has been on the outs since then.
Nothing to see here AFAIC. Loved Dunny and hope he gets another gig but I want a premiership thanks.

There uis a bit of a victim mentality with him. Refuses to try to play another position so not seen as for the playing group, sacrificing his own game for the group (like Hill did by going to HBF and Crounch did by going to HF to allow a once position player in Dunstan to play)

Wont follow team rules in looking to handball to runners going past and continually bombs it into the fifty without any strategy.

Cant run both ways, he defensive side is terrible and when he was dropped for the final game he cracked the shits at the coach which is never a good career prospect.
he is a capable AFL player in a limited way but it is best if he ply's his trade at a different club. Hope he goes well.
Not disputing you, but where is it coming from that Spook refused to play different position or follow team rules. Would seem very strange for an afl level footballer of experience to do that. If you asked Lonie to play ruck or something ridiculous I could understand it.

Bit concerning if Coffs manager is actually shopping him around.

Makes me think Coff might be getting messages from the coaching staff that he doesn't like hearing.

Info getting around that he was dropped for not following instructions in R22 and refusing to tag Selwood.

I can remember at least 3 different occasions during Dunstan's career where he was dropped and then eventually recalled to the team that he spoke to the media about his 'redemption story'. Some players just don't have a very good read on their own ability. Paul Hunter was quoted at the start of the season as saying that he wasn't here to just make up the numbers but to push Paddy and Marshall out of the number 1 ruck spot. I envy people like this...

Is Tim O'Brien any good as a defender?

Not a chance in hell this trade period but I'd be priming us for moore next trade period.

Stash the coin. Run with a temp CHB option.

Then go all in on Moore early next season.

I'd be doing this more so than BING.

As for ladhams buyer beware... somethings off.

Also very surprised SPP name hasn't come up for a move out. Not necessarily us but just interesting port aren't moving on from that.

Yeah I'd be all in on getting Moore next season as a FA. Pies won't be able to afford to match. Millions already going into De Goey, Grundy, Howe, Crisp, Adams etc, plus Treloar's ongoing payments...
