Spot on Premo.

They used Greenwood and not a less desirable player because they’re idiots. It’s so obvious that if you’re going to do this you use your least desirable players.

I think they probably need the player to agree to it given that they are contracted perhaps none of the less desirable players were comfortable taking the risk. Or Greenwood was only too happy to volunteer.

Not a lot of FA's that tickle my fancy next year.

Heeney going nowhere

Moore would be handy but his body is an issue for the price he would ask.

Barrass would be a good pick up but I can't see him leaving WA
Moore would be the ideal but for injuries, though I'm wondering if we could fit him and Bing into our coz and I'd love to have a real dip at Hopper in 2023.
What might we return from the retirements of Ryder, Geary and Hanners?

Doubt we'd be able to fit both in.

I'm happy to wait and see with Bing. If Sharman continues like he started there is no point giving up a huge price for another key forward.

we should go hard at Nic Nat ....hear me out

- A key part of the reason we were so good in 2020 was Ryders amazing tapwork. This may well be Ryders final year
- Nic Nat is still playing awesome footy and will for a couple more years at least
- The Eagles are in rebuild mode and will be happy to get a compensation pick for him. Playing for a bottom team is also not very appealing for Nic Nat
- He missed the 2018 Grand Final due to injury, so he is still "hungry" after seeing all his mates win a medal

It’s not like he’s too old but also not quite in his prime for much longer. Perfect for a contract about the same as what we got Paddy on, 2-3 years of high level then enjoy retirement

They would never trade Nicnat, he's their most marketable player and is worth just as much off field as he is on field

I think that's sensible, but honestly I doubt that the club has the same attitude. Reuniting the King twins under the Saints flag will be on like Donkey Kong as the season ticks by without Bing putting pen to paper at the GC.
