Probably little but it's a much simpler role
He was drafted as a mid but always a project pick. Even Bailey can't break into being a full time mid and hes much more developed in that role than Starce
It is, and certainly has suited Starce as he's built his tank and gotten conditioned for a full season of AFL - something he's struggled to do. Now that he has that fitness base and conditioning, there is no better time to trial him in a more offensive role IMO. Is he any guarantee to make it? Of course not. But his strengths as a player could prove to be damaging if he's given a more offensive role.
