Just though I'd pull this over here in the draft thread.
If you want to draft a kid with forward craft, clean hands and impacts the scoreboard, Jaiden Magor also looks a prospect. Rookie Central describe him as a forward/midfielder..."a promising talent from South Adelaide, Magor is a player who piles on goals in attack. With a strong frame and clean handling, he is a constant threat inside 50 but also works well up the ground."
Bit of a smoky in the draft but should be available with our 2nd round pick if that's what we're looking for.

Do you think we might take him? Also what are you hearing on Busslinger?
Twoomey had Jed falling around our pick in his last phantom draft. I reckon he’d be perfect for our list needs.
If Busslinger is gone by our first pick then I think we have to target an outside mid or forward/mid type.
Non tall, Hotton is one of a couple of players that I see as a perfect fit for our list and still falls within best available criteria
SonHaven't followed this year's draft all that closely (for obvious reasons). Is Hotton any relation to Trent?
Thanks.
He was one of my favorite players when he was with us.
Son of ex-Blue and Magpie emerges as draft bolter
He impressed for Vic Metro in the Under 18 Championships.www.sen.com.au
Well, everyone looks better in navy.Already looks good in navy
Yes, however; potential draftees are human individuals and are not tethered by the laws of mathematical probability. I also think it's ironic the way people treat our first round selections, as if higher picks should restrict our choices instead of give us more scope to choose from.It doesn’t mean it SHOULD be used either. They should work out what has gone wrong in those situations Both by our club and others. And what has worked.

Whats his running capacity like
Burst, speed is elite, endurance is AFL standard
2.89 for the 20m sprint with very nice ball handling and kicking skills.Burst, speed is elite, endurance is AFL standard

Must have a shocking weakness if he’s fast has good kicking skills and good ball handling2.89 for the 20m sprint with very nice ball handling and kicking skills.
Hotton did a JSOS before JSOSThanks.

I reckon that will be his go but he’s got the ability to develop in a few different roles/positions.Seems like a perfect fit on a half forward flank ?

No shocking weaknesses. Just getting a lot more hype now because he’s performed really well during and since the national champs.Must have a shocking weakness if he’s fast has good kicking skills and good ball handling
This is the year for it. The top end KPP’s are set for a few more years, the midfield is built. Just get the bloke that will be the best player for us.Best available who ever that is
Stop butchering pick 28 before it even happens. It looks like slim pickings putting it all like that. All the talk at this stage, is Acres is our only move in the trade period...
As a guess, IMO the likelihood is Fogarty will be cut, Setterfield kept and Curnow to the rookie list... That would leave us with...
Trade
Pick 28 > Acres
Picks
10,28, 62 & 64
We may get pick 37 compo for Jones...
But highly doubt we get anything, Dogs will just get Jones as a DFA... Getting him as a DFA, will dilute their own FA Johannisen compo...
4x senior spots
Delisted (Jones, Williamson, Newnes, Fogarty, E.Curnow (rookie) & Stocker)
Added - Owies & Acres
0x rookie spot
Delisted (McDonald, Parkes & Hayes) (3 spots + 2x over limit MSD)
Added - Ed Curnow
The numbers could change...
If any Cottrell, Boyd or LOB have been upgraded, or a player/s are traded out...
My question to everyone...
With the use of trading or keeping picks 10,28, 62 & 64 & any future picks...
How would we maximise our draft hand, to get the best players we can for our remaining 4 picks?
and what player do you think we will get at each pick?
Arrow - anyone. Could Hotton be a high HF/Wing?
