Surely clubs taking 4 minutes for the early picks has to be a directive from Fox/AFL to increase air time. No way that clubs would not have had their earlier picks selected immediately.

They gotta match the brownlow in the dragging it out stakes somehow.

Father/Son rule and it's bidding system will forever be a joke. Imagine being a top 4 team the last 4 years and all you have to do to get hands down the best kid in the draft is trading away a couple picks in the 30's and 40's...that's some nice equalisation, right there.

Future first rounders should be forfeited AS A START.
