So is it 100% confirmed that we're going to use both pick 25 and 27?

I would much prefer if we can swap one of those into the second round next year. Going in with only a first rounder next year gives us no leverage and trade capital.

Only way I would be happy with using both picks (plus 16) is if we see this as our KPP draft similar to when we got in Reid/Brown/Dawes all in the one draft.

If we could somehow get a Keeler and Hayes and use our pick 27 to either help get both KPP or trade in to next years draft then go after a Narkle/Stocker for depth or even potential to push for best 22 and then use our fourth spot on in the rookie draft.

Geez, that would be a change - recruiting a KPD as a KPD. We generally draft KPF and turn them into a FPD!!!!

Chief blocked the links to KM’s espn articles because he was posting them instead of manually inputting his power rankings/phantoms to BF.

It was a childish, dick move imo, and resulted in KM not posting on BF anymore, hence no almanac for 2022 on the D&T board.

90% of the draft board turned nasty af towards him, I felt like he was bullied and it took away what those threads for originally created for. Sure KM was weird and quirky in his own way, but it was all pretty sour and unnecessary imo.

There were speculation we had interest in him, even though he still had a year on his contract, so would be a good idea to target him next year. Reunite the brothers.

I don’t know what you’re looking at if you’re not impressed by Barnett’s highlights, as a tall who should go in the 20’s.

I wonder if GWS will make the same mistake as North and not bid on the best prospect in the draft at No.1.

I suspect the Dogs will be hoping they don't as they'd have to be a sneaky chance of bidding on Fletcher at 11 to extract a little bit of revenge on Brisbane for Dunkley.

If Davey hasn't been bid on by the time our first pick comes around we need to make sure Essendon don't get to have a live selection at 22 and dilute the players still available by one.

Agreed I think Keeler is probably better suited to what we need. Also I am sure he can play as full back if needed. Can do anything, similar to Mac Andrew who went to the Gold Coast.

As much as you seem to detest Hine, he still has the final say on the players we select in the draft. Obviously as the list manager GW has significant input, but when push comes to shove, he needs to trust Hine to identify the best possible talent at our pick.

I’d have thought the input from the GW types and coaches is more the “we want a insert player type” and they’d have faith in Hine to find the best available of that type at our pick.

Our list profile says that we don't require any more midfielders or flankers. I'm confident that GW will take Hayes at 16 if he's there and probably Lemmey at 25 and Barnett at 27. If Hayes isn't there at 16 then we might take midfielder like Ed Allen who is 194cm and the fastest at the combine. But I share your sentiment about Hine, his sphincter would pulsating with every tall we take

Regardless of who’s in the seat we’ll be lucky to take one tall with those three picks.

I think loading up on McStay and Frampton this trade period allows more flexibility. Given we’d added Dean the previous year and re-signed Kelly I actually think a KP type and a ruck will see out our tall additions via the drafts.

Therfore from your list we currently have:
32 main list (including Noble upgrade)
6 rookie A (including Murley downgrade)
1 rookie B

Outcome:
4 main list spots for National Draft and PSD
1 rookie spot. Does the rookie spot have to be a Cat B ot can it be a Cat A?

Plenty of clubs looking for key backs, no hope for Busslinger and a big chance Hayes is gone too.
