Heard Rowie on AA tonight - on the news about Butts, Strachan, McPherson and Seed he said he "doesn't understand what they're doing with the list" FFS Rowie, all you have to do is read this thread! It's not like anyone here gets PAID to understand these things...

Why do people still listen to Rowie?

I switched off from 5AA years ago & music is more informative than Rowie.

For more relaxing than listen to that moron.

based on what?

Based on the risk premium a side would want from us to trade a first round pick. Assuming it was pick 10 we wanted this year there is every chance we finish with pick 7-10 next year - so I feel the trading club would not want to be giving much if anything back.

Yea you can argue next year stronger draft or that we likely finish with pick 4-8 but if we are chasing the pick to get a player the trading club isn’t going to trust we finish bottom 4 and generously give us a second rounder back for the great pick we might give them

Mutineer suggestion of a swap of future F1’s plus us giving a second is more likely

Don't understand why Crouch wasn't the player delisted .....surely we're not pandering to his ego, on the back of his recent seasons & him looking at trade options .....I feel for McPherson

Senior player who still played 10 games or so v an in established young player that’s yet to prove he should be on a list. It’s not that much of a stretch

I used to listen to it regularly when I was younger. Hooksey was great. They used to do decent interviews.

But when sensationalist morons take over it no longer becomes informative.

For me it's not about my age, but the quality or lack of the show.

Also better off listening to a podcast.

The way I read it this opens 2 spots on the main list, we needed to open 1 given Butts and Strachan needed to be upgraded.

Whoever appears on AA regularly usually leaves the club…. Danger, Betts , one other which escapes me now .

I believe we currently have 35 on the main list, and 4 Cat A rookies (Seed and Moose included)

Assuming MM is a given, we then have two open list spots. Given senior list size can be 36 to 38, they can either be both senior listed players, both rookies, or one of each

It doesn’t increase list spots per se, but it does increase flexibility

So Rowie who used McHenry to call Justin Reid a dud is now hosting a fishing show with him

If we do trade to get a pick for Phillippou, I'm gonna ring Rowie and demand he make a public apology to Reid
