He's tearing the lions a new one but Rachele should be as good if not better within 2 years. Trading in Bailey in would allow us to interchange Rachele and Bailey between mid and forward which would be a killa combo but I don't think Bailey is worth a million. I don't think any player is worth it if you want to build a premiership team. I think he is worth around 650. It would be nice to repay the lions after stealing Cameron. Not a direct reaction to his performance today against the Suns as I’ve been thinking this since last year, I’d straight up love the club to chuck a million a year, 5 year contract and the promise of a starting midfield spot in front of Zac Bailey to try an tempt him out of his Lions deal. In my opinion he’s is the most perfect player for what the Crows need right now, did his schooling in SA and also gaining revenge for Cameron would be nice.
To be honest none would interest me. Would want proven players to be traded in.So - Fogarty trades.
You would have to think that Collingwood would be curious. Perhaps for one of Poulter, Arlo Draper or Cooper Murley?
So, wouldn't he be a very handy inside midfielder for us when we are (hopefully) a premiership contender in a couple of year's time?Agree, he is still contracted until next year so will be willing to pay some of his salary as a sweetener (maybe this was our list management strategy by offering him only 2 years after being a FA). He will be a very handy inside midfielder for a premiership contender who would have a late first rounder this year.

Our past history has shown it usually take us 5-6 years to build a list to contend for the premiership so I can't see us contending for the premiership in another 2 years especially having done a full list rebuild after 2019 which we have never previously. I suspect it will take us 8 years this time so we will need to continue to refresh the list and I wouldn't consider a late first rounder unders for M.Crouch, had he continue the form of 2017 then sure he would command pick 5-10.So, wouldn't he be a very handy inside midfielder for us when we are (hopefully) a premiership contender in a couple of year's time?
Why would we give up quality footballers when we will always get unders in a trade?
He may not be our number one midfielder when we contend, but he's more than good enough to be in our top 6 mids at that time. Who we get for him in a trade won't be.
Adding Worrell/Murray for Dunkley is equivalent to adding Gore for Dangerfield - most teams won’t be interested, you’d thinkAfter watching all the SANFL games this year, surely a few teams ask the question about Murray and Worrell?
Reckon we could comfortably cover them with Borlase developing and McAsey (who has no trade value).
Maybe wishful thinking, but if the Dunkley rumour was to eventuate, then surely one of these would be involved in a trade?
Yes, clearly not the meat of a trade which would be a very high pick.Adding Worrell/Murray for Dunkley is equivalent to adding Gore for Dangerfield - most teams won’t be interested, you’d think
As good as Walker is playing he is in his last or second last year. His kicking skills are prolonging his career. We need to start playing Worrell forward !!!Yes, clearly not the meat of a trade which would be a very high pick.
Murray has already achieved more than Gore did in his career.
I think Worrell is in a tricky position….more of a third tall type who is unlikely to get a game unless Doedee is injured.
Someone has to go. Which 3 players will we delist this yearMove Crouch on
I think its a value proposition - on two levelsSo, wouldn't he be a very handy inside midfielder for us when we are (hopefully) a premiership contender in a couple of year's time?

We have to make a minimum of 3 selections, less any rookie upgrades - noting that both Butts & Strachan are contracted for 2023 and need to be upgraded this year. With the list situation at the moment we'll be lucky to take two picks in this year's draft.
Crouch won't be going anywhere. He's contracted for 2023, and we saw last year that nobody wanted him for free (he had no offers as a FA) - so there's no chance of anyone actually giving us something for him this year.I think its a value proposition - on two levels
1. He nets us a 2nd rounder at a minimum.
2. We fill his spot with a developing midfielder.
There are pros and cons in keeping Crouch - but for me its time to part ways. He is heading into Jake Kelly stop and prop territory. If thats our game plan then he is fine - but I see the need to move the ball on at all times as the better strategy
If Matt can reinvent himself then I am all for keeping him - I'm not sure he can.

Vic Metro's leading goal kicker at the 2019's Nationals playing mostly forward would suggest Worrell has more to his talents than a 3rd tall defender. Why our coaches haven't at least given him a block of games up forward in the SANFL I don't get.Yes, clearly not the meat of a trade which would be a very high pick.

To be fair, not sure we get that for Fogarty. Perhaps him and a pick?To be honest none would interest me. Would want proven players to be traded in.
SURELY.If TT is going to be missing for a while I suspect one of the defenders will move forward.
Yeah, I'd be open to doing thatTo be fair, not sure we get that for Fogarty. Perhaps him and a pick?
Probably Murray or WorrellIf TT is going to be missing for a while I suspect one of the defenders will move forward.
Well this hasn’t aged too wellDelist/Trade/Retire:
Berg, - 6 years in the list hasn’t improved.
Walker - won’t be part of our next premiership tilt
McHenry : he might be better in a better team. I’d cut him lose for his benefit.
Davis: good club man but 6 years on the list and not a regular means it’s time to go
Crouch: our midfield is too same same
In: Dunkley in psd or trade
Best midfielder with our 1st
Best KPF with our second
Best Ruck

He was injured for the entire 2021 season so what did you expect? Doesn't matter if he is contracted for 2023, he can still be traded and if we offer to pay a majority of his salary for 2023 as part of the trade this might be tempting for a premiership contender, particularly given his form has been quite good so this is totally different to the situation when he was FA.Crouch won't be going anywhere. I'd be putting the hard word on Tom Powell.
Insanity that he's in the twos for North.
