Would have rather take a stab on a young developing KPD and see where they end up.

Massive hole in the list. And instead we force Ladhams out just to replace him with another version of himself just without the development.

Don't get me wrong I like this pick based on need, but it does make me think "didn't we just trade out an okayish ruckman who got plenty of the ball?"

Ladhams was a big loss but the list managers thought prioritizing getting Sinn outweighed that. Time will tell whether this was right or not. Going by the highlights package, Teakle looks a pretty capable mobile ruckman with better skills and balance than Ladhams. Lets hope he turns out to be a masterstroke selection.

Guess that’s better than picking some limited scope small sanfl tier list clogger.

In fact any other year I would be stoked we picked a ruck. They’re the exact type that semi regularly are found late.

Having said that I love the rucks in the nat draft and hope this doesn’t dissuade us from going after one of them end of year, and there’s only so many rucks we can play too.
