Future years look a bit more enticing:

View attachment 1501374
The home & home with Wisconsin and Ohio State are the only ones that stand out.
ND are a big name, but just s**t the bed in big games, but that might change in the next 5 years.
The Oklahoma home & home is now void unless they will play an extra SEC game those years.

Texas are going to get smashed.
Only for Saban to ring Arch Manning
Do you want that to happen for your entire time at Texas?
If not, it's not too late to come join Bama.

Arch flips and commits to Bama instead.

Bama already have two qbs in the class.

Texas I think will be fine eventually (just not this week when they will get pumped).

UCF didnt play good enough to win.
Not at all
I’m a UCF fan having lived near Orlando at Daytona Beach for a while and the glory days of the ‘claimed’national championship with McKenzie Milton and Scott Frost seems a very long distant memory now.

OK State are going to try and have each section alternate between orange and white for the game tonight.

Love when schools try this stuff. Tennessee doing the checks always looks elite.
same with black out/white out games.

Great game between a pumped-up Texas and a sloppy Alabama.

Highly entertaining with a fantastic 4th quarter.

Longhorns were bloody unlucky to lose. Their QB was knocked out of the game early on. Their 2nd string QB (Card) played a good game, but he was carrying an injury and limping for the entire second half. His lack of mobility proved costly in the end. Just couldn't make a few throws that he needed and some promising drives stalled.

Bama seemed determined to lose for much of the game. So many dumb penalties. But they got out of jail thanks to Bryce Young stepping it up in the 2nd half.

Texas played some great defence. Their crowd was going apeshit for most of the afternoon, had the stadium rocking and the Texas boys seem to feed off their energy. They really deserved to win.

They snatched back a 19-17 lead with 1:30 remaining thanks to a clutch 49 yard field goal. They just couldn't stop Young's final 2 minute drill. They mostly had Alabama's receivers covered - they'd shut em down for most of the game - and they nearly had Young sacked on a safety/corner blitz at the end. But he just always found a way to slip out of trouble and scramble his way past the 1st down marker & out of bounds. He is such a cool customer. Nothing seems to faze him.

Not sure what to make of Alabama. I'm tempted to say they're not that good. Pretty average offense (aside from Young). But I wrote them off last season and they ended up improving as the year went along and won the SEC. Maybe they'll do that again. Maybe not. I think they might be a bit overrated. Drinking their own bathwater and believing the hype.
