Now let me think if i was a Australian professional sportsman and i had the chance to visit most of Australia or most of Europe playing my profession i wonder which one i would choose?![]()
I'd choose playing and living in Australia close to friends, family etc and being famous in your own community, over living on the other side of the world every year away from home.
Then if I were playing in an Australian league I'd travel overseas for a month or two at the end of every season and enjoy the anonymity. I think it's the perfect balance.
Unless of course you are going to be a big name in the U.S or Europe, then I can see the appeal in cashing in, in your 20s.






I don't think anybody is insecure, just pointing out facts. Why would any AFL fan be insecure when the sport is so clearly number 1 in the country? Kwality seems to have been suspended, so we'll all get a break for a while.
