Gawn + Short. Think you'll get a similar output with Short and Lloyd but Gawn is definitely a more safer pick at that price point than Darcy due to Darcy's injury history.

Marshal v O'Brien (Both have tough opening 2 games) or Gawn but I want to use that $$$ to upgrade my D6 who is currently De Koning...

I already have Grundy locked in. I'm leaning more towards Marshall if he's the main ruck once teams are named and Ryder being out for longer. O'Brien seems to get more of his points from HO and he might not win as many v Darcy(rd 1) and then Grundy (rd 2)...

Also, anyone else think Hewett is not that great value at 400k? I'm struggling to find someone at that price point who would be better or potentially a POD (possibly Bradley Hill?)

I would love Marshal as a point of difference but he is just so inconsistent. He scores big or struggles.

Yep, plus Ryder injury means he should either come back in a week or 2 or if he has a setback then like 8 weeks lol. He's just one of those wait and see until team lists for me

I'm in a similar boat on the last defender selection. I can afford Crisp and lower but would like to have $$$ in the bank so looking at ~$400k mark to give me $100k+ bank
