I guess the other thing is we've all got Dunkley as our F1. I expect English to become one of the top 10 forwards especially if he plays more ruck than forward

I agree ....that's why I also toyed round today with the Butters to English scenario ....and even looked at English at R2

Must admit, I expected English to solo ruck ...not share

Berry and JHF have probably caused me the most stress this pre season. I can start JHF on the bench but it feels like a waste or I can cut Berry, start JHF and use the 150k id gain elsewhere. I’m pretty confident Berry goes 85+ though, he probably pushes over 90 tbh.

Tough to compare imo. One has dpp but is $35k more and both should score similarly...I think
If you expect similar scores then it's all about whether you think you'll need to use the DPP. Unlikely?
I'm a bigger fan of Crisp than Short. Don't have either. Crisp will be in the mix as a trade in option during the season for me

Im starting the year with no Berry and JHF on field.
150k banked if a midpricer like Berry starts well I will bring them in.
So many good mid options this year you cant take them all.
I reckon its not going to work having 180k+ rookies on the bench.

Both are excellent choices.
I just don't see much upside in the Crisp pick. I think your paying full price for him.
Short is a little undervalued as Houli is gone.
