Teams have lined up very similar to the preseason match sides. The same players are doing well, starting in the same positions. Outside of injuries and covid related issues, the praccy match, considering there was only 1 official one, was a very good indication for the season (more so than other years when there's several preseason matches and coaches muck around a bit more).

There is clearly a spot in the Freo midfield after Cerra left. As much as Fyfe would love to play midfield permentantly, the bloke is falling apart. Then there's Mundy, who is old as ****, and defs won't be a full time mid either.

I can honestly see Brodie averaging 90+ and being a keeper. High CP ratio and high tackle count. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out a way to bring him in. Considering dropping Steele and shuffling a heap of things around to make it happen.

Hmm food for thought.

Haha not crazy. But have to accept that with these midpricers: Berry, Rowell, Xerri, McGovern, Chapman, Brodie etc. You can't have em all. Most can only have 1 or 2 without completely leaving their side open to disaster.
