If he can get his head right, Thomas has the potential to be a better player than Rankine.

Gold Coast should be pursuing him as a priority IMO.

Why would Fig sign an extension in the off season?

FOG is absolutely zero flight risk at theis stage and Richmond would have been in his ear at the beginning of the season when he was struggling to make the best 22

FOG manager would be advising FOG to have a massive off season and strong start to 2023 to set him up for a healthy and long term renewal with AFC
