Because some of the guys that do mocks on the draft board say 'Look I haven't seen much but this is my guess at the first round' etc. Which basically means they've just read 100 mocks and want to put their own mock out there for fun.How could you possibly know that, lol.

answer is aboveDanster is BF's only draft expert who has actually watched these kids. I think thats what he really means.
Thank goodness, was waiting for somebody who knew their stuff. We definitely don't need any Key Forwards, can you advise an appropriate inside mid to target danster168Danster is BF's only draft expert who has actually watched these kids. I think thats what he really means.

What we really need to replace is Hunt and Bedford's speed. Someone who can run fast and kick blindly to no one. It's in our DNAThank goodness, was waiting for somebody who knew their stuff. We definitely don't need any Key Forwards, can you advise an appropriate inside mid to target danster168

Oleg Markov's available
Hibbo will retire at the end of next year, so there will be an opening the year after. Let's be honest, it's not like Goody will play any new draftees next year anyway. His mo would clash with Lever's and Hib's tho.
It’s not my place to name and shame.
But you can easily plug the text into Google and see who else has written it.

I think recall people saying other recruiters were shocked when the Dees to Cook at 12. I went back and had a look at a few phantom drafts. Cook was mainly going 10-15 picks later. So we over reached. I’m seeing Jefferson ranked around our pick so I won’t be concerned if we get him. This Jefferson kid has me getting flashbacks of Lucas Cook hoping not if we take him. Also like to see us try get another pick around the 20 mark and take Brayden George was a possible top 10 pick before he did his knee.

he's not rated in the top 30 by Cal Twomey who I think knows a lot. I don't think we get Keeler unless it's with our 2nd pick. That said, I don't want to pick up an interstate kid anyway.Pretty impressive highlight reel, far better than most ive seen.
Moves well, looks to have well above average skills for a big man, smooth kicking action. id be more than happy if we took Keeler.

Plus you can't be sure Cal Twomey has watched a single second of the U18sIll like what I see whether Cal Twomey is with me or not if thats alright with you mate.
It's so dumb. For every player that gets homesick you'll find 10 who are more than happy wherever they end up. Patrick Cripps has wasted his career languishing at Carlton, and despite being from WA has never even looked close to leaving. And I hate the whole "I dont want to draft an interstate kid" idea Danster. I get youre gun shy after Jackson but its such a stupid way to draft. What if you have an interstate kid ranked higher than everyone else available at your pick and you pass on him coz youre seeing ghosts that may or may not be there.

it's a risk not worth taking. and it's only going to get worse as player power and freedom of movement continues to grow. You may change your mind if we lose Kozzie and JVR next year. And I hate the whole "I dont want to draft an interstate kid" idea Danster. If you use your extreme of 'much higher than everyone else' than sure take the interstate kid but that's not a problem I see us facing at pick 13 in the draft.
Those are definitely not the ratios. And there are exceptions to every rule but even at the recent trade period the following players returned home. And it' only going to get worse. It's so dumb. McStay: returned home.
Darcy Tucker: returned home.
Tanner Bruhn: returned home.
Luke Jackson: returned home.
Horne-Francis: returned home.
Rankine: returned home.
Some of these trades have set a club back many years such as the Rankine one.
