it was pretty good but the umpires were about a 6 goal difference that day. And English kicked a goal he'll never kick again. I remember the game clearly. How good was our manic pressure in round 19 last year?
Think you are overplaying it a little there. Its been good, it hasnt been spectacular. We havent had a rookie since Harmes impact, and we havent found our own key forward or key back aside from Petty since Frawley
Theyve been great at trading for needs no doubt, weve also paid a hell of a fair price.I factor trades into list management, it isn't just drafting.

You've missed not muchI’ve missed this entire thread because of ignore lol
Just having a little bit of fun. If you are interested that kind of thing good for you.a bit extreme. he's 3 years away. and a likely top 3 pick. It's fair enough to take an interest in the future while some people are pulling their hair out about our forward line on a weekly basis.
Sorta excited as with Jackson going and us reportedly asking every KPF in the league if they want to join we are guaranteed to be active.
Problem is there is no good quality forwards available this year.I’ll drive both to the airport myself if we can get hold of a quality key forward. Jackson leaving hurts in the long term but while our window’s open we just need someone who can give Gawn a chop out. I’ve loved Gus’ year but we aren’t exactly skint for HBFs. If they choose to fo that shits on them.

In my ideal world I would have loved Ben King. But he's signed a new 5 year deal at GC and they're finally on the up.
From a realistic point of view I'm a huge wrap for Nick Larkey. He's a contested marking beast, but also has a bit of mongrel which i love about a key forward. I believe he comes out of contract next year but we'd be mad to not at least ask the question right about now with how s**t Norf Lol are.
I also still think we lack another quality midfielder that can really add a whole different element to our midfield mix. They'll never touch Degoey with a 10 foot pole but his style and talent is exactly what we lack/need.
That isn't really true, when clubs change coaches anyone could become available depending on the direction they want to go in.Problem is there is no good quality forwards available this year.
If someone gave us a 3rd rounder we'd rip your hand off shaking it so hardHey all, does the club value Weideman? What would his trade value be?
Yeah this is why a part of me is hoping we are quietly into someone's ear like Nick Larkey. That isn't really true, when clubs change coaches anyone could become available depending on the direction they want to go in.
Port is exactly the type of club who could realise their premiership window is closed and sell off some of their older players for picks. Thats why ive been saying we should enquire about Dixon
No one thought we'd actually trade Hogan before the season ended as a different type of example. A lot can change in the next 3 or 4 months.
I wonder if the Hawks are still open to trading Gunston and/or Breust. We dont need a long term KPF right now, we need to maximise our flag chances in the next 3 years cause itll be gone after that

The funny thing with Gunston is we were rumoured to be keen on him last year but people on here were like 'he wouldn't even make our starting 22'. Go forward a year and he'd be our number 1 key forward. I would be keen on Gunston again.I wonder if the Hawks are still open to trading Gunston and/or Breust. Curious to see an example of a post from here claiming that ‘he wouldn’t even make our starting 22’The funny thing with Gunston is we were rumoured to be keen on him last year but people on here were like 'he wouldn't even make our starting 22'. We really need to go best available at the draft though I think. assuming we get 2 first rounders for Jackson I don't want to reach for a guy just because he's a key forward otherwise we end up picking up a guy like McCartin over a petracca.
Jackson has told the club he won't renew his contract with the club over the weekend.
