Ive always said I prefer Weid as our second ruck to Luke Jackson.

I'd like to alert everyone to the fact I WARNED YOU ALL of the risks of drafting a WA KPP at pick 3 in 2019 due to the go home factor.

NOBODY ELSE was talking about it at the time and I am VINDICATED
Please, others had said we should fold in early-2013 to save ourselves further disappointment, and they've been right 1000 times since!

Feels like 2018 again, just need a couple ******* posters to cry over Mahoney not getting fair trade value and being bent over and us get pumped in a final

Veil's are back in fashion I hear.

Can we make him play at Casey for the rest of the season please?
I'm wondering if there is a step forward for the afl similar to nrl with this.

Players sign a deal for next year at another club, but still play their guts out for the current team all the time over there.

His form has been shithouse obviously, but maybe afl needs this to happen to move forward with all this movement shit.

Theres no trades in the NRL thats the difference. If Jackson announces his leaving to Freo technically we could delist him and make him go the draft. Dont think it works

Lets be honest, NRL players today are far more proper men than the AFL players are. Thats why state of origin has survived in one and not in the other. These guys dont care about pride in their performance and playing their guts out for their teammates, they care about contracts and being close to mummy.

Jackson has told the club he won't renew his contract with the club over the weekend.
That's fine - do you know when he will renew it?

Agreed. F*** that guy. If he wants out then off ya go son. His heads not in the game anyway. Thanks for your services and helping us win a flag but GTFO. Not sure yet if this looks bad on him or us. Not a good look losing such a young talent when we are up and about. It's very odd. Will be interesting to see how much he's been offered. Is he choosing $$ or just simply wants to go home? Either way we have to now concentrate on maximising a return. Desperate for a ruck a KPF and another classy mid I reckon.

Yea actually that's fair. Just look at the NRL blokes compared to the AFL. The NRL blokes are the type of men you'd be scared of in a pub, the AFL blokes are chasing pokemon in the carpark.

Curious to see an example of a post from here claiming that ‘he wouldn’t even make our starting 22’
Gunston wouldn't even make our starting 22.

Good, lets get Gus signed up and start the search for a Dogga replacement asap.
Luke is very lucky to have a Premiership under his belt and a big pay day coming his way, really puts someone like Nathan Jones' struggle and loyalty into perspective.

Jackson is going to be torn to pieces in the WA media if he isn't gunning for AA selection next year. Hasn't had any pressure on him at all playing behind Gawn, so will be interesting to see how he handles that.

Amazing how it's turned that way in past few years.

Its not really a surprise when most AFL players think NBA players are who they should look up to.

Like moving clubs is a badge of honour
Interesting thought. You're never as big of a name than when you're moving clubs. Wonder if it's alluring for players to get a chance to be in the spotlight, build their brand then get a tonne of hype levelled at their feet.

AFL and the media have leaned in hard to the trade/draft period as a way to monetise the off-season. Going off on a tangent now but it's no wonder every commentator wants in-season trading and quicker free agency elligibility. They've found a goldmine with shit like trade radio.

He'll turn up this week coz hes back in his home state, campaigner has always done so. Then hell come back to Victoria and do SFA, calling it now so I can go full danster in a couple of weeks.
haha, you gotta be right for that to happen. :p but is there any official word that he's going? I mean, he's obviously going but is it official now?
