IMO only shit clubs trade their picks forward unless there is a superb deal on offer. Much rather get a kid in the door now, get a year of development into them, and have them ready for best 22 footy sooner to extend our window. Can WC trade out their first and second next year?
Would have to be better what Freo can offer... and 2023 will be a very good draft by all accounts.
Oops, I'm doing this all wrong, clearly..How do we know taylor is her real name, who would use their own name.
We aren't getting Cadman he's gone way before we get a lookIMO only s**t clubs trade their picks forward unless there is a superb deal on offer. Much rather get a kid in the door now, get a year of development into them, and have them ready for best 22 footy sooner to extend our window.
I'm warming big time on Cadman, having read more about him. Him or Sheezel. We need someone who knows where the goals are. In an ideal world, we'd trade whatever we get for Jackson onto GWS, Essendon or GC for pick 3, 4 or 5. Sounds like the big bodied mids are fancied early, meaning an early pick could leave us the best young forward.
As an example, pick 13, Freo's F1, North's F2, and our F2 for pick 3 and GWS F2.

Only downside is you usually 'lose' on the pick trade. No one trading for it is gonna lose so it'll be Freos future first and a second/ third for a pick 12-18 this yearassuming we get Freo's future 1, do people think we will trade it to this years draft or wait a year? I hate waiting a year to use a pick when you can develop players a year earlier.
it's looking that way. could be pick 2. Jefferson come aboardWe aren't getting Cadman he's gone way before we get a look

Depends whether we can trade up. We have form.We aren't getting Cadman he's gone way before we get a look
Cadman is going 1 or 2. No chanceDepends whether we can trade up. We have form.
I don't know a huge amount about the draft, but it looks like the group after Ashcroft is Tsatas, Wardlaw, Sheezel, Cadman
IMO depends on what Horne-Francis does. If he goes, North may look at a big bodied mid. Who knows.Cadman is going 1 or 2. No chance

Nah north and GWS both want key forwards. North's midfield is ok, they really done NEED JHF, what they do need is key forwards and backs same as GWS.IMO depends on what Horne-Francis does. If he goes, North may look at a big bodied mid. Who knows.
if Jason Taylor doesn't rate Jefferson then it'll be interesting to see who he goes for. There's so much flexibility on offer. Good key defender options in the first round, good small crafty forwards and good mids.Nah north and GWS both want key forwards. Cadmans not getting out of the top 5 and I can't see how we get in unless we wayyyyy over pay for pick 2 which looks likely to head to port.

I'll take anyone who's game isn't built around disposals and contested footy. Even another midfielder if they specialize in marking, kicking, running etcif Jason Taylor doesn't rate Jefferson then it'll be interesting to see who he goes for. If anyone can be ****ed, id be interested to know how much draft capital we've traded out to move up in drafts. We always have to 'lose' them to do it even though weve actually done really well from it (Oliver, Pickett etc)I can see us trading out of next year to get into this years draft with multiple picks.

No chance on Cadman, we can stop talking about him.
I think we will try target Humphries (plays like Heeney), Hollands (Langdon 2.0) or Jefferson (Skinny lanky tall forward).
This is why we drafted Howes. After missing out on Max Holmes and our forever failure to find another proper wingmen i have a suspicion we will go hard for Hollands

Woe Jnr played there a bit for Casey and looked ok this year.Every good list needs more then 2 wingers. Baker does not count.
