Was just thinkin to myself after reading this thread, wonder if Brady is texting like some of yous post.

oh well

Hopefully he takes the advice on board and gives them the 3am jilted lovers style texts.
A diatribe of words with creative insults. There’s no amicable way this goes forward, the kids a generational talent.

Giants did well when Cameron left, as did Geelong when Kelly left.

JHF was the clear number 1 pick in his draft. We have some hand here.
Agree and we'll get a decent return back, it's on us to maximise that. I was talking to those suggesting we tell them get f***ed if it's not stacked in our favour heavily

Sinn, 8 and F1 sounds about right for a contracted, former pick 1 , 19 year old that has been touted as a generational talent.

Essentially pick 9 (Ashcroft bid), 12 (Sinn) and another late top 10 pick (assuming Port finish around the same level next year).
No i wouldnt be happy with that. Port must go get us pick 2 - those two picks should get it done.

Now Pick 2 (Cadman) and Sinn seems more reasonable for a No1 pick generational talent.

We need top end talent, WC has a deeper rebuild so pick 8 and future first with something coming back to Port might be appealing for them.

We could get Wardlaw to replace JHF with our pick 1 and address our key forward issues.

I get posturing to get a good deal but I want him gone. I don't want this nonsense dragging out into next season.

I'd rather draft someone with pick 8 and watch them have a better first year than him.

That may be the case but it is rare to have a club say here is the best offer we can give, take it or leave it because we can't offer anything more. We have to go through this haggling fiasco where one club asks for a ridiculous high and the other offers a ridiculous low and there is a possibility something reasonable happens 5 minutes before the end of trade.

It is just better to detach yourself from the process and let people who get paid to worry about it get on with it.

Like when the Cats wanted pick 8 for Jordan Clark

Like when the Dockers wanted two firsts with one of them being 6 for Cerra

Or like when the Bombers wanted Butters for Fantasia.

There's probably some crazy shit being proposed by Schnoz that would make even the nuffiest of nuffs happy. Will it happen? Of course not.

Power’s Bonner up for grabs

By Peter Ryan

Contracted Port Adelaide running defender Riley Bonner is on the trading table with other clubs aware he is gettable during this trade period.

The 25-year-old played 17 matches this season for Port Adelaide but was the medical sub in two of the final three rounds.

The South Australian signed a two-year deal at the end of 2021 and could be thrown up during talks around trading Jason Horne-Francis, with the Kangaroos likely to want more than just two first-round picks for the No.1 pick.

Port Adelaide football manager Chris Davies has already ruled out Miles Bergman or Josh Sinn being part of any deal involving Horne-Francis.
