This is the year where I'd be willing to trade our high pick for an established high quality player that fiils a direct need.
Imo we have enough top end talent on the list via the draft now.
Do we REALLY need another top 5 pick mid?
So many variables at play to answer this right now. It's dependent on where we finish in 2022, how our mids progress in 2022, what established high quality players are actually available/want to come across, what the 2022 top 5 actually looks like.
If you asked me now, the West Adelaide 199cm Key Forward prospect Harry Lemmey looks mouth watering considering our current mix.
I also don't subscribe to the fact that we can ever have enough gun mids - If we were to finish bottom 1 or 2 again, we obviously haven't progressed as many had hoped/expected, therefor I don't see us trading away the rights of Wardlaw or Tsatas.
I'd personally only trade our 2022 first for a young star defender - Charlie Ballard, Sam Taylor etc. which is unlikely considering they've both signed long term deals.
