Same rule applies to this thread as other years, keep it on topic about the kids.
Don’t get bogged down on what other teams might do or where they will finish.

Trade speculation belongs here.

That's also where you can discuss your mock drafts or pick trades.

Any McCabe, Dear or Maginness talk belongs here.

Anyone see the Darcy Wilson highlights on baseline footy. Looks a jet, kicks left and right, then plays forward kicks goals and quick

- T3V0MAA, Regarding Harry Lemmey after round 1, 2022
That is true. However, I have seen a greater amount of Moir than I did with Lemmey. I would also say it is much easier to get carried away with the performances of key forwards at a youth level compared to a player in Moir's position (look at the number of people who drummed up interest in Tom Scully). I do query TDS7; what are your overall thoughts on Moir, and where do you currently see him ranked at this moment in time?

I personally have him as a top 5 prospect right now, I rate him higher than Watson and Delean for the small forward role. But small forwards either need incredibly consistent goal scoring or consistent involvement up the ground. If he goes well at Champs I'll buy in, until then I'll hold his spot tentatively.

Those familiar, who’s the best key forward prospect at this early stage for the draft? Anyone tipped to go top 5ish?

Actually quite a few. I think it's a strong draft for key position players. The first two could go 1 if Harley Reid wasn't such a bananas prospect.

Archer Reid 200cm+ tall with strong marking and work-rate around the ground. Think King brothers.

Daniel Curtain a 196cm swing-man with fantastic aerial abilities and elite reading of the play. Reminds me of Naughton.

Logan Morris doesn't project top 5 now but his work-rate is incredible for a tall and his contested marking isn't shabby. He's listed at 190cm but I've been told he's actually around 194-195. Similar to Jezza Cameron, will win it at CHB and somehow contest at CHF in the same passage.

Nate Caddy is undersized at 191cm so projects more as a third tall. He's a very aggressive contested marking player.

Plus Jed Walter who is tied to the suns academy likely top 5. I add that as I’m hoping we are into the suns for their first pick that they likely lose for him and we can draft Archer Reid with it alongside Reid Duursma Moir Caddy depending on where we finish
