In terms of scoreboard impact he’s quite good. People want to not go by stats and that’s fine. But he’s elite for score launches and above average for score involvements and goal assists.
I get the premise of trading out asserts that hold value. But your not looking at your very top end.

I think Lynch would be certainly worth a look. But as others said you’d be concerned we end up with a player that can’t get on the park. At least with BBB we didn’t pay too much pick wise.

In the hypothetical chat mate he's the only player we have whos worth anything that we could realistically cover. Can't trade JVR, Pickett, Trac or Rivers because they are unique and May and Gawn are too old. Oliver only works because he's worth so much

TBH Salem is probably a player we could afford to lose. We have quite a few half back types. One thing I will say about him is that he definitely plays better off a full pre
Season.

Essendon should have taken the deal tbh.

Humphrey was an unknown when we tried it too so there's always risk. Depends who we take this year. Time will tell whether missing out was better for us.

We didn’t know Freo’s pick would be so low when we entertained this don’t forget.

Definitely worked out for the best that we didn’t effectively trade picks 5 and 13 this year for pick 5 last year.

I don’t think think Salem is a good trade option. Doesn’t carry much value and we aren’t stacked in his area.

Didn’t have his best period over the past 6-7 weeks but I envisage him being in our best 22 for another 2 years.

If he's only got 2 years left even better a reason to trade him out for value. Wouldn't be hard to replace what he does

Trading two future firsts is a big gamble. I didn't like the idea of trading Freo's first at the time as I had a feeling they would drop down a bit. Didn't think it would be bottom 6 levels but still.

Three first rounders for one top 5 pick and an early 2nd back was a massive offer. Thinking more about it I'm very glad it didn't work out. We have more list needs than just one player.

Not sure why it took them so long to realise how much better he makes Lever. Tomlinson had a great 2nd half of the year.

Feel for Tomo, tried to turf him last year, treat him crap all of this season and then decide to keep him as insurance at the last second. Who knows if he even gets a game next year.
