I think we like Duursma more than Watson, so I don't think we have to worry about it too much, but we're having a legit crack at pick 1. It's a watch this space for mine.

You guys are crazy, Watson would be a great result at 6. But i agree if were trading up to 3 and we end up taking him i will melt w the rest of you. Its surely Duursma at 3, nthn else makes sense and he makes as much or more sense than Harley Reid. Imagine a half fwd like Zac Bailey

who not only gets plenty of the ball and wins contests and accumulate but kicks bags too. Sign me up. Its either Reid or duursma or we keep 6 and 11 and we take whoever slides out of Duursma, Mckercher, Watson, Curtain, Caddy or Sanders in order of preference. Any result other than what ive just listed or some totally out of the blue trade for a forward thats not on the trade radar and i think its melting time.

We need to start a petition to rename Casey Fields to The Shire.

And guess what, out of all of them the best by a big margin is the 171cm guy drafted in the first round. (No shade to Bowie he plays a diff position and i rly like him too like everyone else) Watson adds what we badly need which is another electric small fwd apart from Kozzy and a means to no longer have to play Laurie, Spargo & Chandler in the same team. Do you guys realise how bad that is, its part of the reason we went out in straight sets. Obv the kicking for goal and the bombing into the f50 aimlessly are equally up there bit **** me, Steven May and Jack Viney and co deserve a couple of decent small fwds who do something other than gut running. They need to kick goals and none of them do that apart from Chandler occasionally. Would love it if he takes a big step coz i think he had some great games but we cant rely on him turning into Stephen Milne.

Didn't mention it. Rambled for a few minutes about how the club wanted Fogarty and Thilthorpe for Petty and finished by concluding that Jefferson's development had been set back a year or even two years because we didn't make the VFL Grand Final.

He had more points to make but Dwayne cut him off as the call closed into the 4 minute mark.
