Considering we have Gollant contracted and Borlase out of contract who showed he's capable depth, yeah, it's strange to be interested in a 27 year old depth option who has showed little at this level.

Our midfield for starters with Schoenberg injured and not a lot in the SANFL side to get excited about. I guess we'll just have to keep rolling Sloane out every week.

Schoenberg being injured doesn't really change anything in that regards. No different to rolling out Sloane really.

A lot of it is hoping Rachele can transition into a full time forward/mid next year and maybe Soligo into a 5th midfielder. There really aren't options beyond that unless we're about to go back to the Jones well (if he's healthy). Or we throw a curveball and throw a Hinge/Rankine into our midfield mix, but that's seen to be believed territory.
