In these conditions you'd surely be keeping Leiu in defece and swinging Akuei and/or Kemp... hell I'd happily have Plowman as a defensive forward presenting at the ball carrier on forward wing

Crocker didn't back himself to take the overhead mark from the long kick in the conditions. Understandable but going for the chest mark without protecting the drop zone cost an opportunity.

If you can't secure that, you need to look to knock the ball on in these conditions. Make GWS shit their pants for once with all these deep inside 50s.

Some shocking ball movement. DC looked great early, but then was a bit sloppy late. Crockery’s laziness in front of goal doesn’t help. Dow also missed a soda.

Im so suprised of the poor state of the ground. It looks far worse than some suburban grounds.
Gonna be a scrappy ole day for footy.

Dow just got kicked in the face tackling someone to the ground as they tried to kick a centre clearance, straight to the bench.

Don't think it's concussion but I think he's had something happen to his nose or teeth

Cincotta and Plowman have been generally good, Kemp's positioning and kicking has been poor, despite the conditions

Dow has worked hard in attack, not so much defensively

Prefer Carroll in the guts, but needs to go up a level in intensity

Lemmey struggling with that delivery and Davis and Keffee are experienced

Binns busy, will get better as the game goes on

Will say it again, O'Keeffe will play before Mirkov who is a liability away from the ruck work

If this is how Leiu is going to play as a forward, just put him on the ball. He cannot do worse
