Been our game since half time really but sadly likely to be 0-2. Can’t keep starting that poorly every week.
We've been breaking even since half time, that's about it.

Winning more clearances doesn't mean boo when our ball use and spread from the contest has been the same throughout: it's just more cracks to generate the same expected results. Like a rusted and blunted Swiss Army knife.

Every time I see Kemp go forward I wait for the inevitable Jimmae post.

And they put Keeffe straight on him... easy enough to do when the only other threat he need manage is Lemmey

Did Keeffe just ping his hamstring?

The GWS player, not O'Keeffe

Yep. Barely a suburban footballer.

Just looks like someone who enjoyed his off-season, which is to be expected after being discarded from the AFL system and being a late VFL signing.

The better question is: why are we playing him already?

On his game today, Cincotta deserves a senior game. 5 mins to go and has racked up 34 disposals:)
You can almost completely disregard half of the defence's possessions, such was the way our team was setup

He had some OK patches, but made some terrible and slow decisions at times on how to link up. Seems as mentally overwhelmed as most of our AFL list, but give it time.

He’s not a forward. He’s a defender (Kemp). And he’s good at it.

I want him in the midfield resting forward, and I don't see why that can't be tried given we felt forced to play Leui up forward and had no one doing anything inside the stoppages aside from Dow.

As it was, they had Kemp pushing into the stoppages when it was in our defensive third (as distinct from D50).

Kemp as a defender is extremely clean with the football, but otherwise meat and potatoes due to being unable to make significant attacking runs within the structure. Modern footy doesn't allow for tall general defenders to take off unless they have incredible repeat efforts (see: McGovern), and that's assuming they can read the play well.

He just looks inbetween a bunch of different roles, unless you drop him in at the stoppage and let him drop his shoulder and get the football.

I thought Kemp looked like our most dangerous leading forward/3rd tall in several games last year.
Just couldn't kick straight.
