I don't know about that. I think the comparisons with a young Carey would have been flying around all over the place. A dominant big bodied key position forward is a rarity in any draft, which is why I'm reasonably sure Walter would have been selected at #1 in an open draft. That is why overpaying for maybe the 2nd best player in the draft makes no sense to me.
