Well, if we're in a position to drive up the amount Port has to pay to keep him, we definitely should

He’s contracted until 2024.

Maybe we can walk him to the PSD at the end of next season…

I'm seeing late 1st/early 2nd valuations for Hollands, here. I don't watch much GC. Would he be best 22 for us next year and in which role?

Let’s face it, he’d have multiple suitors and we’d be bottom of the list.
Lets face it, he is a ruckman and a ruckman only. If we offered him the #1 spot aslong aslong as he is fit and available, I reckon he'd definitely atleast seriously consider it. I'm not sold on Xerri :( Grundy with a veteran back up in Goldstein makes me feel better.

Would also be happy to pay his salary or most of it too if Melbourne accept say a 2023 or 2024 3rd rounder

He was averaging 9 disposals, nearly 2.5 marks a game, as many spoils/1%ers and three tackles per game. Hasn't even played 10 games yet.
Mate just looked up his stats he’s averaging 7.44 disposals, .56 goals, 2.44 marks, 2.78 tackles, 2.0 1%.
To me he needs to improve a hell of a lot has he got that improvement in him that’s the question.

Contracted for 4 more years currently 29 and the next club has to pick up the dees 600k a year

I don’t think many will have the money or want to do so

I’ve said this is a bit, take his whole wage of the GoDees for a pick around 30+
Pay him an extra $400k as a sign on bonus to convince him to pick us.

Work it out not counting the game where he broke his leg.

He had 1 touch in 8% game time in that game but it counts to his season average. Based on his average 80% plus game time that's another 10+ possessions in the game. Obviously not as many as Sheeze but up there with Duck's first 10 games.

Mate all good I just don’t have the confidence that he’s going to be the answer as a forward I hope I’m wrong but we will see😊

Based on the above FG you might have to drop ‘flawed’ from your user name because that my friend is pure genius.

to play devils advocate…

Is Sheezel going to be your HBF next year?

How are you covering logue and McKay?

Aside from Scott, who are your 2024 wingmen? (Is it Hollands? If not, what primary role does Hollands play?)
