I'm not sure how this club will ever get to the top. They shoot themselves in the foot at every opportunity.

Just about to come and say the same thing. Butts and Borlase are perfectly adequate backup as well. Worrell and Max as the 3rd talls/interceptors. Curtin can play midfield, why not give it a go with the season shot anyway? Surely he was not drafted to play as a KPD long term?

The issue with Dowling in the guts is our strict adherence to 'playing in the SANFL in the role you'll play in the AFL'. Neither Pedlar or Dowling are getting a run as an AFL midfielder.

Curtin is SO much more than a KPD, that is why he was rated a top 3 talent alongside Harley Reid last year. This is painful to watch.
